Mabinay Ecumenical Service/ Spiritual Enruchment
Many people recommit to long-term goals at the start of every new year. Regardless of the approach, it is essential to be reminded that God is consistently merciful and renews His love for us over and over again. On January 2, 2023, an ecumenical service at Lingganay Stage Poblacion Mabinay marked the end of the week-long Lingganay sa Mabinay celebration. The service begins with a prayer, which is followed by Pastor Gerry Aboy's opening remarks. Rev. Marlyn Taytayan and company then led us in the singing of worship songs. Carlos Caparida's message is very relevant at this time since he emphasizes building new habits, setting a specific goal, and changing. When we desire change, we have the perfect example to follow: Jesus Christ. When we are ready to implement change, we have the perfect guidebook: His Word. Finally, we have the perfect companion to strengthen our resolve: His Spirit. As we’ve discovered, change can be challenging, but this New Year, as we journey together down the road to freedom, let’s stay focused on the One guiding us: Christ. Mrs. Lucrecia C. Nicolas, our General Services Officer, then delivered a takeaway message. Following the pastors' final performance are our outstanding Mayor Ernie T. Uy's closing remarks.
