BUGLASAN FESTIVAL: HONORING OUR ROOTS, CELEBRATING OUR FUTURE
The annual Buglasan Festival in Negros Oriental rejoices in the province's abundant history and vibrant cultural heritage. It usually takes place in October and includes colorful street dance, pageants, cultural performances, and a variety of local delicacies. Mabinay's entry consistently stands out for its spectacular booth displays, which highlight the town's distinct heritage, traditions, and stories, adding to the Buglasan Festival's colorful and lively ambiance.
2nd Runner-Up in the
Festival Float Competition, 1st Runner-Up in the Civic Parade, Our Street Dance
and Showdown Performance captured the hearts of the audience, garnering the
People's Choice Award for its engaging energy and passion.
Much appreciation to all of the Municipal Mayor, Vice Mayor, officials, coordinators, performers, NORSU Mabinay students led by Arcie Nogra, and overall coordinator of the event, Dr. Dindo Amorganda. Mabinay's shared solidarity and proud heritage stayed firm, rain or shine!
