Buglasan Festival 2022

The Buglasan Festival, also known as "The Festivals of Festival" in Negros Oriental, is considered to be the biggest annual celebration honoring peace and harmony among surrounding towns and municipalities. Every year in October, this weeklong celebration takes place.

This festival consists of a variety of competitions, from showdowns and street dancing to hip-hop competitions. People can also enjoy activities including nightly cultural performances, cuisine festivals, and exhibitions. The crowning of the new Buglasan King and Queen, along with Miss Negros Oriental, is one of the festival’s major events.

In the same event, one can visit Mabinay Spring, Sea of Clouds, Pandalihan, Panligawan, and Crystal Caves at Mabinay Booth, which is considered Mabinay's finest treasure. Mabinay brought home two awards: first in the booth competition and second runner-up in the Buglasan hip-hop dance contest. Thus, the Buglasan Festival turns into a yearly occasion that travelers shouldn't miss.
